What We Do

Volunteering Around Boston

Greater Boston Young Professionals Kiwanis participates in many great service projects throughout the year.  We schedule 1-2 hands-on service projects or volunteer opportunities per month.  Check out our Calendar of Events for upcoming service projects!

Here are some of the great organizations where we have volunteered:

  • Allston-Brighton Food Pantry
  • Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Boston
  • Community Servings
  • Emerald Necklace Conservancy
  • Mass. Audubon Society
  • New England Center and Home for Veterans
  • On the Rise
  • Prison Book Program
  • Ronald McDonald House
  • Room to Grow
  • UNICEF USA

Sponsoring Key Clubs and Circle K Clubs

Key Club is the world’s largest student-led service organization in high schools. Circle K is the world’s largest student-led service organization in colleges and universities. Many of our members are alumni of one or both of these organizations, and we prioritize support our young leaders as they unite students in service their communities and the world.

We currently sponsor:

  • Boston University Circle K (chartered 2013)
  • Brookline High School Key Club (chartered in 2022)
  • Newton North High School Key Club (chartered 2021)

We also work with the Circle K clubs at Boston College and Northeastern University and strive to unite all of the Service Leadership Programs in Greater Boston to serve together with us.

If you are a student or staff member at a K-12 school, college or university, or program for adults with disabilities inside Route 128 and you would like to start a Service Leadership Program at your school or program, please contact us today at [email protected]!

(If you are looking to start a Service Leadership Program outside of Route 128, you are also welcome to contact us, though we may direct you to another Kiwanis Club that is better equipped to serve your community.)

And if you would like to help support our Service Leadership Programs, please consider making a donation.
